Số bạn chỉ thi 1 môn là : 7 + 6 + 5 = 18 (bạn)
Ta thấy : Nếu có 2 bạn thi cả 3 môn thì :
Số bạn thi chỉ 2 môn sẽ là : 28 - 18 - 2 = 8 (bạn)
Số bạn thi chỉ 2 môn trong đó có môn Tiếng Anh là : 11 - 5 - 2 = 4 (bạn)
Số bạn thi chỉ 2 môn trong đó có môn Tiếng Việt là :13 - 6 - 2 = 5 (bạn)
Số bạn thi chỉ 2 môn trong đó có môn Toán là : 15 - 7 - 2 = 6 (bạn)
Dễ thấy : ( 4 + 5 + 6 ) : 2 < 8. (Phải chia cho 2 vì mỗi môn được tính 2 lần).
Do đó số bạn thi cả 3 môn chỉ có thể là 1 bạn.
Từ đó ta có :
